Seeds all germinated, now , as soon as I put them in soil should I put them under the lights, in complete darkness, or in a lighted room?
Put a zip lock bag or some kind of plastic over it to keep the moisture in it, then when it sprouts put your lights on it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Just make sure not to forget to check on them they'll sprout in 1-2 days
When the white root is 1-2 cms, place each seedling in it's own pot. Pre-water the pot to get the soil damp. place the seed in the soil (root downwards) about 1-2cm below the surface. You can use the plastic zip-lock bags over the top of the pot or you can use some cling film or something. To keep the soil moist. Put the lights over them, until you see them pop up. Once they pop up - take the plastic off the pots - (seedlings need air) Don't over water the seedlings. Use a mister if you've got one - if not only water the soil, don't water the seedling directly. Use Ph ajusted water or rain water or distilled water (with no fertilisers) and you should be on your way...
Okay thanks a lot, that cleared mostly everything up, but heres something Ive noticed, a lot of people say leave them in the dark till they pop up and when they do take the film or bag off and turn the lights on them, and I hope that will work because that is what I have done, and they have been in darkness for around 24 hours, so I'm hoping for them to pop up soon, I think it will work cuz hell the seed is under the ground and covered up so its not getting any light anyways? .. half of what i read said put them under light and the other half says put in darkness, well, I guess I'll find out if the darkness works in the next day or so , if not I got some more seed germinating right now just incase. Its just bagseed so I can experiment a little.. thanks guys
