I just topped my clones..how do they look ??? Will be transplanting to 5 gal pots in 1 week and will place in flower in 3 weeks in a 4x4 tent under a 600W HPS. Any advice would be appreciated.
If you top a clone take enough to use the top as a new clone. Clones tend to get so bushy its pointless to top.
hell yea! get it growing for the next round. I love doing clones hydro, bushy ass devils, buds get so fat the whole plant wants to lay down like a fat hog..
DWC. Im wanting to do all hydro indoor to remove the home for bugs soils with the aphids, fungus gnats and stuff. Iv had real good luck with the simple DWC.
@[member="snoopdog6502"] Im having problems with gnats also. Its soooooo many of them. I lay fly traps everywhere and its still alot
sand on top of the soil, reflective pot covers anything to block them off. diatomaceous earth, sticky traps. 1,000 watt bulbs cook the hell out of a lot of them. Damn soil, ants farm aphids and other crap, its a real battle. In trying to grow in a super clean environment now. I have a heated greenhouse for my soil plants.
I've heard mosquito dunks work well for fungas gnats as well as the Diatomaceous earth. Little buggers they are. I like the DE the best, as it really gets them as they come out of the soil and eventually you'll get them all, have a week off and back at it lol!
