Finally Lucid Dreamed

  1. For the first time, i enacted Lucid Dreaming. I was laying in bed after meditating and i was vibrating, and i remember drifting to sleep but not really.

I kept experimenting, going arounc, talking to people and explaining how ecstatic i was that i was lucid dreaming.

And i would try to move my hands and head IRL but it woulfnt work. It was quite awesome and im really excited i achieved it. Eventually i lost control and went into deep sleep, but it was fun

  2. The best experience I had with lucid dreaming was when I was in jail.

I finished reading a few chapters of the first book in the Fire and Ice series where a character found himself to be a crow.

I went to sleep with full intentions that night to fly lucidly.

I "awoke" in a field, very vibrant colors filling my vision.

After a moment, I decided to flap my arms. It took a moment, but I became airborn.

Within moments, I transcended into a bird and took to the blueness of the skies.

I landed (as myself) at one point at my old job's parking lot, where I saw many people that I knew.

There was a point where I strictly wanted to test out my will to control events.

I removed a grenade from my pocket and unpinned it.

I tossed it around, then promptly leaped on on top of it to enjoy what could happen.

It blew up, as expected, but didn't cause any pain.

Shortly afterwards, a girl who I had a massive crush on admitted her love to me, which we then proceeded to kiss passionately.

At that point, the lights came on and my cellies ran from their beds for breakfast.

It's so powerful when you successfully lucid dream.

  3. I love lucid dreaming. I've been trying & sometimes succeeding for a few years.. I always end up in the same place though.. an imaginary mall from a dream I had a long time ago, same workers, usually same shoppers, it's very strange.. I start in random places & can do literally anything I want, but I always end up back at the stupid mall & lose control.

  4. You are not the only one who experiences the 'mall'.

Would it surprise you to learn that this experience might indicate a training ground? That before you can progress further, consciously, you have to learn something from it?

When you say you can do anything, what do you usually choose to do?

  5. That's honestly how it feels, like that is where I'm supposed to be practicing, but I'd like to get out!

The first thing I always do is try to find a digital clock to make sure I'm really dreaming.. As the clock never actually has numbers in my dreams, just crazy pictures. Like the timer in the hatch in Lost when it gets to zero.

The last lucid dream I had, I was in the desert.. oddly, found my clock & then I proceeded to run at like a super speed like a jet or something.. Then I took off flying & flew over the ocean for a long while.. I saw an island & as I was landing to explore, it like transformed into the mall.. I landed on the roof & climbed down through the roof hatch & walked around the mall a bit.. went to my favorite store.. tried on some clothes & then nothing.. I lost control.

  6. Lucky. I got close about 2 weeks ago. In my dream I remembered I looked at both of my hands and I realized I was dreaming. But unfortunately I woke up, not because I got excited, but just woke up

I always forget about that trick, my first instinct is to find my clock. lmao. Don't be jealous, I've been practicing a LONG time.

  8. its true. but it doesnt mean anything. unless you can translate that freedom into life :)

  9. maybe it indicates you want to go to a mall like setup and need to learn to be real and thereby free amongst people?

  10. dam congrats. ive yet to achieve lucid dreaming, seems like im incapable

  11. I have had such realistic lucid dreams that I have literally spent an entire dream trying to figure out if it was really a dream.

I was at an acquaintances house who I really dont like, he's a pathological liar so It felt like a fucking game. I would be like "is this a dream?" and he would give me a cheesy smile and say "IDK is it?"

The whole time I was only trying to see if it was a dream so I could whoop his ass with no repercussions. Was pissed when I woke up before I could.

  12. Do you think lucid dreams can be real experiences, like transcending this place we're at and contacting or being contacted by real people either in other places, people who aren't on earth anymore, etc?

I know I sound like a nutter, but seriously, I have had 2 "dreams" only I KNOW I wasn't asleep (in one I was actually outside walking IRL)...both involved my son who was killed a little over a year ago. Both were really, really comforting, like a 2nd chance at talking to him. I actually wrote one down right after it happened, I didn't want to forget. Maybe I will post it later...

  13. Everytime when I have a dream about fighting someone it feels like I'm punching through water and not doing anything hahaha. I have no clue why but it happens all the time.

  14. Haha it was weird though. I didn't try the trick. I just thought about it before I went to sleep and it happened.

Haha the clock thing is funny

    ALWAYS, the clock :)

  16. Some of these just sound like vivid dreams. What makes it lucid? (I'm curious)

  17. ^^Lucid dreams are when you know you are dreaming and have some control over what's transpiring in the dream.

On topic:I have had lucid dreams a few times but haven't for a few months now. I hardly if ever dream (maybe I just don't remember) but lucid dreams are something special. Any tried and tested techniques to induce lucid dreaming? :)

I think that using the tricks to tell if you're lucid dreaming throughout the day while I'm awake definitely helped me to actually lucid dream. I have a digital clock in my room that I look at frequently consciously thinking about it. Or I look at my hands throughout the day. Then I do these same tricks WHILE I'm lucid dreaming.

  19. I should get into the habit of doing this. I used the "Am I dreaming?" question to myself quite a bit before but don't do that anymore and I haven't had a lucid dream in quite a while now. Will definitely try this, thanks!

  20. I did it the otherwith The hand trick but I've been forgetting to do it
