Doing a 7-10 final flush. Should I be ph-ing the last gallon or so ( like I did in mid grow flushes) or just give her plain water? Any harm in ph-ing the last bit of flush water? Also, I've been checking trichs with 60x-100x scope and just started seeing amber. How fast are they going to flip? I know lots of variables but if 5% amber today, how quick will it be before 50%?
Okay, in an effort to spice up responses here are some pics. They're in rough shape. The mighty wash from my spider mite battle fucked them up pretty good and right now I'm fixing my Aprilaire so my humidity is wacked. Any way, they are at 49 days of 12/12. Getting the chop next week.
Final flushes are a myth and not worth the effort. But to answer your question based on what it is suppose to do then no you shouldn't have to PH your flush water. PH effects how a plant up takes nutes and if you have no nutes then why do you care how it uptakes them? Few other things here. Let your plants go longer. I always do mine one week longer than I think they need and usually at least 60 days unless its a super quick finish strain. I believe (this is only mg opinion) that flavor is really enhanced by a properly ripe and even over ripe plant. Also when you have issues like burns or severe bugs it can stunt your plants maturation processes adding extra time needed to recover and finish. Last piece of advice is fuck mighty wash. Next spider mite issue get a spinosad product, I like Monterey Gardens. Spinosad is an organic product that works awesome and can be used up to a few days before harvest due to how quick it breaks down in light and best of all it won't burn your plants. Because I hate spider mites so much I use a spray mix of neem, spinosad, and a wetting agent every week until their last month of flower. That way even if I get mites the wont have time to get out of control, but I haven't noticed any mites for a long time with that régime.
Thank you. Good advice on the mighty. Unfortunately I have to give them the chop due next week due to extenuating circumstances.
