my parents recently bought a Brita water filter and i can definitely notice the difference in the taste of the water as opposed to water straight from the faucet, and i was wondering if oyu guys thought it would make any difference to put filtered water in a bong or bubbler, or other liquids for that matter (juice, pop, kool-aid, or even liquor). i have a sherlock bubbler, and i can taste a very slight difference in taste between water and lemonade, but i cant really distinguish between tap water and filtered, i'm sure it would make more a difference in a bong than just a little bubbler, but i was just wondering what you guys think.
well first i wouldnt use soda.... just because of the carbination, and its a waste of soda cause theres so way im drinking rez flavored soda
i've never used pop/cola/soda whatever anyone calls t where they are from it was just an example, if i did use it, i'd immediately clean out my bong/bubbler because it would get super sticky and be a bitch to clean. the only liquids i've put in my bubbler are water, lemonade, and sweet tea. i've only noticed a difference between the water and lemonade, no diff between water and sweet tea.
ive also used lemonade i didnt notice a big difference but i was also really high and then my friend decided to drink it and call it rezonande
I used to put a few drops of lemon juice in my bong. It helped it stay clean and it had a slight lemon taste. But I know kids that put coffee creamer and shit in there pieces. Its made for water nothing else
No, you're seeing different kinds of beverages//added droplets that add mild taste+color. Fact of the matter is not that much vapor from the water gets into your smoke, so you won't be noticing too big of a difference no matter what's in your bong. Done and done.
Anything with sugar is a no-no; makes the piece sticky, attracts bug, and doesn't taste good(IMO). Anything sugar-free is an option, but I personally only like a bit of extract in my water.
Even worse THC is alcohol soluble so you would be getting less thc unless you were to drink the liquor, and no one wants to do that.
Do it if you want, it won't destroy your bong. It won't even be that much harder to clean it, if it gets any harder at all, i have never noticed a difference. But it's really not that cool, i mean it's not like you are doing anything with the water besides putting in your bong. And OP, don't use any sugary drinks, it just makes cleaning a bitch. But filtered water is much better for glass, it doesn't leave calcium deposits and if you use ice a lot, i highly suggest making the cubes from filtered/soft water.
