Think this is in the right section, meh, who cares Anyway, it's winter. Which sucks. In summer, I usually spend most of my time getting baked outside, on a night in a field somewhere watching the sky, sat around a campfire, but that isn't excatly fun around this time of year, so right now, I spend most time inside, watching films and what not. I'm really interested in the night sky, and outer space, especially other galaxies and crazy looking nebulas and stuff, it's all very trippy, and even better when baked. Can someone reccommend me some decent films, videos (or PC/Xbox 360 games, wrong section but you can if you want) about outer space, or set in space. Videos on youtube are okay, but they are a bit short, and don't really involve you much, just tells you in 10 minutes how vast the universe is, using rubbish CGI, and cheesey music. Besides, I have seen most of 'em already. I have already seen 2001: Space oddysey, which was great, but a little slow and boring, Space looked kinda unimaginative in that film. (I know space is like that in real life, but, ya' know...) I have also seen a few others, like Star Wars, but that isn't really trippy enough for me. If any of you have ever played the games' /X2, or EVE: Online, then I guess I'm kinda looking for films or long videos with a similiar graphic/art style to those. Sorry If I'm asking a lot, and rambling. Peace.
Check out "The Astonomer's Dream" its on here somewhere or you can google it. It takes place in space.
