Figured out the USPS Signature dealio...

k, i THINK i figured it out...

i placed an order for about $140 which contained 3 ccg spoons, 1 agent blue and some rolling papers...

this order was shipped in two parts...

agent blue and rolling papers came from ?france? and had a customs sticker on it, did NOT require a signature.

3ccg spoons DID require a signature (wasn't home so i gotta go to the post office and pick them up tmrw or the next day)...

so my theory is that if the item you purchased is glass, you will be required to sign for it... if not, they'll just leave it in the mailbox.
