Cool beans so this is my first post haha First off would like to say I'm a mmj patient just trying to supply personals.... I'm Going to be starting from clones, and will be using foxfarm ocean forest throughought, but will ffof be too hot for the little ones? Should I start in a lighter-nute soil then transplant? Anyhow this has been one of my main questions as I'm gonna be starting soon. My setup will be a 4' t5 light w/ 2-3 scrogged plants. Any feedback would be rad, I have basic knowledge of cultivation but would love to pick some smart brains! -bullscrog (it's like a bullfrog..... But with a screen or something idk)
To funny bullscrog. Glad you came to join us. No it won't be to hot. That is an amazing soil to use. I recommend it to every good stuff. I have a grow right now with a 4ft Florescent. You can make a great plant with them! Check out my grow section it might be able to help some.
Awesome, appreciate the quick feedback! Sounds good to me less soil to purchase haha. And do u flower under your fluoros? I'm gonna have to this time due to financial related things, was wondering what a full 2x4' screen would yield when filled right? But nonetheless I'll check ur page thanks!
I LST it is easier and can help a lot you also can combine them. Yeah I flower under them also. You switch out half the bulbs so its half flower bulbs and half veg bulbs. Really depends on veg time light output and pot size for yield. If done right with the right light and good size pot you could get a couple ounces or more. All in the set up the longer the veg time usually the bigger the yield but also have to have enough light to support a bigger plant.
This is true, yea I got 4 6500k bulbs righ now gonna get 2 2700k for flower. I was gonna lst to start or fim/top but not sure. I figured topping off the apical meristem would help the plant Branch outward and make scrogging easier? But I've neve done a scrog so I dunno haha
I don't scrog mine I just do LST. Your going to need more lights lol going to need at least 3-4 cfl's per plant depending on wattage.
Really? On top of the 4' t5? I figured if I evened out the canopy in the screen and lollipopped the bottoms out I'd be chill I made my screen dimensions only 3" longer than the light fixture So it will rest nicely right underneath
