Hello, I'm in about week 4 of veg using Happy Frog soil under 2 150W CFL bulbs and good temps and humidity. I had lax growth and yellow discoloration, spotting and a little necrosis until I used the other posts in this forum and mixed about 2 TSP of garden lime pellets in a gallon of distilled water, and used that to water my plants the next watering cycle. They BLEW UP!! I can't believe it. The very next morning they looked completely different and are shooting beautiful green leaves everywhere. My question is do I keep adding lime this way every cycle, or have I now fixed the soil enough? I do have a pH tester but am not sure I trust it yet. In the future I will mix the lime directly in the FF happy frog soil with perlite as other posts suggest, but I don't want to mess with the roots so I am hesitant to dig around and put lime in the soil now, but I will if that's the right way to do it. Thank you!
Why add more if your plant is doing fine? And yes, it's better to mix the lime in your soil before hand...along with other amendments
