I was wondering if anyone has used bat guano before? i was told to mix it in with the soil when i transport the babies into the pots. How much should i put in per pot? Also i got a recommendation to use hot cinnamon wax and to put a little into a spray bottle and spray it onto the plants to keep the bugs off. anyone tried this before?
Yes, bat guano is widely used. I would make it no more than 10% of the mix. Never heard of using hot cinnamon wax on plants, doesn't sound like it would be good for them but actually don't know. I would not spray anything until/unless you have an actual bug problem, at which point there are tested remedies for each type of infestation.
thanks toasty, me and a friend have the plants near a swamp/marsh land type of deal. Hopefully we dont get any bugs, i will report back to GC if we do. thanks for the help.
