Okay I wanna ask a few questions about medical marijuana. I understand the basic idea, need a permit and what not, but I wanna know the full process. Also, I'd like to know if you live in a state without medical marijuana, can you get a permit from a neighboring state? Thanks in advance.

  2. If you get a card in Oregon, you may also get cards in other states. But you can't, say, grow in Washington with an Oregon card. And you can't grow legally in a non medical state, even if you have a card or permit in a medical state.

Other than that, you will need to read up on the laws of the state you are interested in growing in before you start your grow, because they are changing all the time.

  3. No what I'm trying to say is if I live in New York can I get a permit to purchase medical marijuana in let's say New Jersey.

  4. I don't think New Jersey has a working program yet:confused:

    NJDHSS, Medicinal Marijuana Program

The FAQ looks like they won't have one before July
    NJDHSS, Medicinal Marijuana Program

So, just keep an eye on developments. It does look like it will be highly restrictive, though.:(
