Here is a decaying observation tower and haikyo museum that rests at the foot of a Japanese volcano. Not a great deal of vandalism, the majority of the damage was due to the elements getting in. The natural effects of decay. It's cool how some of the lights still work!
Damn am I the only one who loves to see old houses left untouched?! I just don't understand how these places can sit for 50+ years and remain in unvandalized condition, its great. This one is a great example. I like how the calendar is still open to 1956
Hayswood Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky. Opened in as an ER and an institution for the insane or disabled in 1915, it eventually expanded into a full hospital, before closing in 1983. Inside of the walkway between wings.
So many fascinating places and stories behind them. I visited Varosha, Famagusta in 2009. There are armed guards and they don't take too kindly to people taking pictures but we managed to get a couple before we left. You can see some more of the buildings if you walk along the beach. The damage to the builidings and the old clothes which are just rags on washing lines are visible. It's worth a visit if you're ever visit Famagusta.
"By the early 1980s, Kowloon Walled City had an estimated population of 35,000. The City was notorious for its excess of brothels, casinos, opium dens, cocaine parlours, food courts serving dog meat, and secret factories." Its crazy, some dude lived part of his life as a drug kingpin in some dense-as-fuck walled city. The world is nuts.
^ That is crazy... I never knew about it! I just check out some pictures, the health and safety of food makes me cringe Check out Silent Hill
Any Star Wars fans? If you're ever in Africa be sure to visit this one. Can you imagine the confusion this would cause if a future civilization found this? Lol

How is it I've lived in Kentucky the majority of my life and I've never heard of that shit? Is it still there? I'm surprised it hasn't been torn down after years, especially with no plans to rebuild. Just a friendly neighborhood reminder that mother nature almost drowned your ass, and has the potential to try again.... Abandoned amusement parks are pretty cool. Surprisingly quite a few them, especially in the area around Chernobyl, for obvious reasons....
Echoes of forgotten laughter as the wind blows through the rusting, twisted metal. Great pictures. Here is the same park
