Can anyone suggest a good method and/or mix to use to stimulate the flowering stage.. what could i use to increase yield, speed, or quality.. Is there one method to encompass all these bonuses or what?
As you probably know, all commercially available ferts quote what % of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium they contain - the NPK ratio. Whilst all these minerals are required at all stages of growth, the proportions do vary when the plant comes into flower. Nitrogen is an essential constituent of all plant structures, phosphorus is vital for establishing good roots, and potassium is essential for flowers and fruit. Other minerals like magnesium must also be present, Mg is an essential part of chlorophyll. I use stuff called BioCanna, especially formulated for cannabis, it comes in two types, for vegetative growth and for flowering. The NPK of the vegetative fert is 10 - 7 - 9, and the flowering fert is 4 - 8 - 12. A lot less nitrogen, a bit more phosphorus, and loads of potassium. I don´t think you can buy BioCanna outside Spain and Portugal, certainly not in the US, not with that leaf on the side. But you could look out for ferts with the sort of ratios I quoted above.
oh thats a tricky problem if you can try covering them with a blanket/garbage bag to make a 12/12 light period thatll def stim flowering. Also use nutes with high potasium and low nitro. Start of weak then increase.
Yes, that would stimulate flowering POSSIBLY, if it IS a total light proof screen. But would DRASTICALLY reduce the overall yield as it would stop any more vegetative growth. I don´t think binonexus wants that.
