I have Earth Juice Grow on my Vegging plants and Im running low and am trying to decide what to buy next. I was also thinking of switching my flowering ferts to earth juice line. Is there any problems just running Earth Juice products and is this a cost effective fert or is there something else I should be looking at?
Earth juice will work fine,I use em but I make teas.get a bucket a air stone and some purified water put in your eath juice, some mollasses, and beneficial bacteria if you have some.let it bubble for a few days to let bacteria multiply then add some of the tea to your water .My tea runs bout 1000ppm so i mix it 50/50 with pure water.
earth juice is awful. They don't even have a feeding schedule, and the flowering nute has no nitrogen but says "if you get a nitrogen def, add some veg nutes." It really seems to be by far the worst nutrient line I've seen on my hydro store's shelves. I use botanicare, and have heard good things about General Hydroponics, Advanced Nutrients and Van De Zwaan House & Garden.
I like the grow formula and I went through a whole pint of it without a problem and I add blood meal and bone meal anyways. I want something that can be used on soil or hydro and something that contains NO phosphates because flushing salts sucks in town with my setup. Im still thinking of doing my own teas but I worry about it getting 2 expensive.
