I'm really confused as to this part. a couple questions 1) are these the same thing? 2) do i NEED this for a successful grow? 3) what are some suitible options that can be found at walmart/lowes?

its the same thing,yes you need fert/food for a successfull harvest, if you cant get to hydro shop or buy online nutes such as General hydroponics or fox farms, then go with somthing like Miracle grow tomato food, it aint the best but it will work and produce quality bud if flushed right,just dont get there soil its filled with fungas nats and shitty nutes that will kill your plants, stay away! and i assume your talking about a soil growand not a hydro one from the question gl
Nah man just stick to a small grow with a easy grow technique 1 or two plants intill you learn more, growing first hand is always the best way to learn just grow within your limits!!! Gl bro
Bigger the better same with the inline fan, Almost all the ones eBay are the same just get one with activAted carbon and a flange that matches your ducting.
