fertalizer question

    So I read some of the other threads posted and i came across one that said you should use 19 19 19 fertalizer. Would that be the only fertalizer i would need to buy? I dont want to get too complicated. Or is there a better alternative?

    Any balanced fertilizer should be fine for growing in soil outdoors. I switch to a fertilizer higher in phosphorus during flowering...something like 15-30-15.

    Ok, but y do you switch to a fert higher in phosphate during flowering? What does this do?

    Phosphorus is responsible for flowering and root development.

    i didnt know it encouraged root growth as well.....
