Fert. Question

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by RecStoner, Nov 27, 2011.

  1. Okay, I have a soil grow and use the Fox Farm Ocean Soil and also use the Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom also from fox farms.

The ph is perfect and the plants look good, but I am wondering if there is something more that I should be giving them?

I have added some Bone Meal and Blood Meal, but nothing else.

    Am I lacking on anything?

  2. I would throw in cal/mag and grow big, but other than that it is at least what I would recommend for soil.

If you are looking for something else to maximize yield, look into foliar feeding, DM has a great line of nutes for your leaves.

  3. Thanks, I'll do that.

  4. Don't overdo it -- a multi-pack from a good fert company should pretty much cover your needs. Blood meal and bone meal on top of FoxFarm? Sounds like you are ferting your ferts...less is more.

You could add some molasses to your mix, 1 tbsp per gallon.

  5. what do molasses do for it
