I was planning on growing some indoor marijuana, and this is my first time. So my question is how do i pick whether to grow a male or female plant, also do they both grow buds ? Also how do you prevent or minimize a female plant from turning into a hermaphrodite? Thanks !

Wow... ...okay...you want to grow females...males do not produce bud...you will only want to grow males if you plan on breeding them... Plants can hermie for a variety of reasons...genetics and stress being the two main ones...stick with reliable breeders and limit or better yet even eliminate the stress your plants endure and you should be able to avoid hermies...
