Feminists can be so nasty..

  1. It took me a couple years, but I finally figured out several ladies I work with are serious feminists.

I just said "man cave" while referring to a sports jersey, and this bitch mumbles "man cave, that's so sexist."

Um, WTF?? Chill the hell out feminists, let men be men! You had an idea some years ago, you wanted equal rights. You got that and more yes? I can't say "Man Cave" without you getting offended?

  4. I can say the same, but mostly for those on the extremist spectrum. Although that goes for almost any group of people regardless. :love-m3j:

  5. They should rejoice that men have to retreat to tiny enclaves of masculinity within their own homes to escape matriarchal oppression.

  7. The screeching of the feminazis should simply be laughed at right to their horribly unattractive faces and ridiculed until they are fully triggered and cry.

But this lady.. what a bitch. She also corrected me when I referred to our "mail carrier" as the "mail lady."

  10. I agree with you in principle that it's asinine to get worked up over words, a completely pointless activity. But what you should do is not get worked up yourself over whatever it is other people call stuff. It's really no difference. One of the best skills in life is to just act like someone didn't just say something stupid when they say something stupid.

  11. Well said. I'm quite humble and let much roll off. Sometimes though, like today, it bothers me. I just can't believe I went so long not understanding I was dealing with serious liberal feminists. A couple years back I was talking to a male coworker about shooting and hunting, the next day got called in to HR to learn someone felt "intimidated" by what they heard me saying. Same wench was within earshot it had to be her. After a quick straighteing out with HR, I blew that one off too.

Beware fellas.. the crazy ones want your jewels in a jar.

  12. Lol the rest of the house is the "woman cave", that's the idea of the man cave joke. It's like a guy's mini bachelor pad inside the home.

Yeah OP some workplaces can be like that, it's fucked up. People who complain about a feminized society have a point. Like it used to be "you're getting picked on? Stand up for yourself". Now it's "rely on some authority figure to fight all your battles". And holy hell, you got referred to HR for talking about guns?

Luckily it seems like most women can't even stand modern feminism, I think it's dying out. The sane ones realize that they aren't interested in the pussy men that kind of philosophy breeds. Live life by your own code.

  13. Chances are, they're probably dating an asshole who refers to women as bitches. :confused_2:

I've known a few women like that . they were single and complaining about there not being any good men, but then they .. ended up dating guys with a history of domestic violence.

I don't think it's possible to Be a feminist unless you're a lesbian. Of course, anyone can claim to be anything they want .. but at the end of the day most heterosexual women naturally desire to be dominated by the male gender, that's genetics.

Sorry, but there's no sugar-coating this.. lol

Anywhoo .. I think gender wars belong in Kindergarten. yawn

  14. Inb4 somebody copy+pastes the definition of feminist as if words on paper are worth more than an active movement.

No hate on someone for considering themselves a feminist, hell one of my (male) buddies does. But the movement has bad PR for a reason and --hint hint-- it isn't all everyone else's fault.

Don't even get me started on the bizarre love affair between 3rd wave feminism and Islam.

  15. The argument that feminism means what it's dictionary definition says is like saying North Korea is democratic.

Their official name is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, clearly they are democratic, and a republic, and for the People right guys? Except when you look at their ACTIONS, you quickly realize they are none of these things.

  16. I figured someone would find issue in me calling her a bitch. I don't participate in gender wars, and rarely, if ever, have a negative thing to say about anyone.

So if you're trying to judge me because I used the word "bitch," please rethink things. I know women don't like that word, but I also know there are plenty of bitches out there. Plenty of assholes out there too. I try to roll with it and mind my own business.

I think modern feminism is alive and well. It's pretty much the norm for a woman to be independent and not rely on a man these days right? Women celebrate doing something on their own, be it education, finances, work, car repair, raising a kid, etc. What is this character quality called? Independence? Think objectively about this... our society is dramatically different as a result of feminism. I'm not critiquing, I'm simply observing.

Truly submissive women are a rarity these days. If you're female age 20-40, chances are you were raised hearing you didn't need a man to be happy, successful, etc. What is this phenomenon called? I call it feminism. It's not a dirty word. Perhaps more women should acknowledge they are feminist to some degree. You don't have to be gay to be a feminist! And not all feminists are bitches.. :)

  17. I'm cool with the independence thing, that's true equality. They lose me when they start saying men are the root of most/all social problems and there's some secret conspiracy designed to benefit all men at the expense of all women. They lose me when they claim to want equality but then apply all kinds of double standards.

It just seems to be a war on anything remotely masculine at this point. They see sexism everywhere, like people from the Cold War era saw commie sympathizers behind every rock and tree. It's just gotten stupid.
