Feminist rant

  1. seconded.

    i need punishment :( lol

  2. Hmm when i was at school id say my favourite teachers who i learnt the most from were men, but that might be because im a bloke and men know how to communicate on my wave length (lol that sounds gay).

I do think it's important to have a 50:50 mix of teachers, i think the reason boys are doing shitter in exams now is because we have less male teachers and most of us are too retarded to listen to a woman (or too distracted, you know what im saying right).

  3. Have you ever complained about some guys body odor?

    You little sexist bitch.

Look, feminists fail. In fact, I dare say most of my negative views on women can be led back to feminism. If you ask me, things like equal wages aren't up for debate, it needs to be done. But if there is one thing that makes me want to beat a women and shut her in my house to clean, cook and suck dick, it's a feminist.

  4. I rate girls to my friends. Usually they disagree with my ratings though so it's interesting to gain insight in my friends personal preferences.

I've found several girls attractive that my friends just look at weird.

    Bitches ain't shit
    But noone else is either

  5. Is it female rights that did the ruining, or a fucked-up set of values that means the only people who go into teaching are people with no other options?

  6. Logic and reason is the only game in town that benefits both men and women in their issues with one another.

Our cultures have been male-dominated since the dawn of our species. This is a valid point, the inequality here is undeniable.

Physical attraction is hard-wired in our genes, as is the desire for sex in men. What is the meaning of being male in one sentence?

"I am a conscious robot, forced to suppress my hardwired desire to have sex with women I find attractive which I see dozens of daily."

All of our ancestors benefited from being sex-machines. Conditions for survival only get harsher as you go back in time, I hope everyone realizes this. You are lucky enough to experience life right now because every male that ever fathered a parent you descended from was burning with desire to mate. This game is dead, but the rules still apply. Women behave inappropriately when they are insensitive to men's efforts at controlling nature. Men behave inappropriately when they infringe on a woman's human rights. Both men and women can seek happiness through logic and reason. Good reasons are contagious, provide a strong argument calmly and your fellow human being will be forced to consider it and eventually give you the point like an honest person or let you know why you're wrong in a polite manner.

There is, in fact, a biological reason behind this trend. Men are hardwired to spread their seed, it's an evolutionary trait. I'm not saying it's a good or right, but it's just how we are. I'm not saying all men treat women the way you described, but there is a strong urge to mate with as many women as is possible.

I agree with all of your post except the bolded part. Men look. Period. Nothing short of evolution will change that. It's simply how our brains our built. It responds very strongly to visual stimuli.

Of course, anything more than looking can be sexual harassment, but looking itself is genetic.

edit damn didn't realize the thread was already 8 pages... I ain't reading all that.

  8. If "just looking" can constitute harassment then, and I mean this so listen carefully, I don't give a fuck about what you consider harassment. If women want to be treated equally then they should look at how men treat each other. We talk dirty, act lewdly, smack each others asses, and have a good time. Get the fuck over it and act accordingly or admit you don't want equal treatment.

Are you kidding? Look at the pressure movies usually put on guys to look a certain way. Look at the insane amount of penis enlargement pills on the market. Walk into a GNC. It's just as bad as what women have to put up with BUT here's the key, no one actually has to put up with it. Just find someone who you fit well with, noone is forcing you to fit in those standards.

The biggest problem with people like you is you never realize that what you want isn't what you want.

  9. "If women want to be treated equally then they should look at how men treat each other."

how the hell does that make ANY sense? If I want to be treated fairly and equally, I should look to the standards of equality that apply to (some) men? You're not only a sexist because you want women to act "accordingly" with what men do, you're one because you're assuming all men want to be "lewd". Feminism touches on the social pressures placed on men to behave a certain way, as well (you may want to look into it).
People like you have the problem of assuming what people want. Try thinking and asking instead of guessing and accusing. You might actually learn something.

I never denied that men have a pressure set on them to look/act a certain way but I still stand by the fact that the weight placed on "beauty" is heavier on women. Sure men have the viagra/cock pills and muscle mags, but what about cosmetic surgery, dieting, diet pills, and all the other methods many women put themselves through because "beauty" is attributed to "success"?
How many times do you see men in advertisements centered on dieting, cosmetics, clothing, wax, anti-age creams etc?

Personally, I think (in America as well in other countries) men's pressures are placed less on looks and more on aggression, personal "accomplishment" and acquisition. Which is why many feminists argue that sexism hurts ALL of us. Telling little boys to "act like a man' not only stunts them but it undermines women.

Just because a woman doesn't agree with your or any man's idea of a "good time" doesn't mean that she should "sit down and shut up". Maybe you haven't noticed but we can have opinions and sometimes those opinions (gasp!) contridict *spoooooky!*

"The biggest problem with people like you is" that you assume that one way is the right way. See how these standards are "forced"? Their are too many employers/politicians/authority figures that feel the same way.

"Get the fuck over it and act accordingly"

The same aggressive ideology is/has been used against black people, gay people, poor people, immigrants, and other minorities including pot smokers.

  10. So is intelligence...

    Take your pick.

  11. text in quotes

  12. Lol. Feminists piss me off. Sorry Emma Goldman. But let's face it, most feminists aren't fighting for equality they are fighting for more. Shit the average woman is already treated better than a homeless dude and homeless women have it way better than a homeless dude, what more do you want? You want people to serve you caviar out of a hand carved ivory bowl painted with the blood of the laborers who died while crafting you the perfect fruit bowl? Nothing but blood thirsty amazonians, I tell you what.:smoking:

  13. Why should women look at the way most men act around each other? Why does that have to be the model of social interaction? Sounds a tad patriarchal to me...
What if a woman doesn't want to be told she has a "nice ass"? Then what? Why is it that a woman cannot object without it being seen as "bitching"? Did you ever think that you could "ruin a life" by harassing someone at a job that they need? Why should women be silent and pretend there is nothing wrong just so that mean can feel comfortable? Maybe some men may not have the intention of hurting someone, but that doesn't eliminate the effects.

No one was putting words in your mouth, why not explain how I misunderstood exactly what you wrote? Really, which one is it? are we "not forced" to conform or should we "quit bitching" whenever we feel we've been treated unfairly? "Not being forced' would only be true if we didn't have to abandon hopes of advancement b/c we don't want to be treated a certain way. Uninvited (key word!) comments/behaviors do nothing to benefit employees while disturbing many. Seems like a no-brainer.

And of course, women do play on each other's insecurities along with men ,to sell things; but this still doesn't disprove what I said, women still have more pressure on them to look a certain way and these magazines and ideas only sell because they promote a standard designed to cater to men. So, I know that women can be chauvinists to, what's your point?

I'm not sure what you mean by "buzzing" but what I meant was exactly what I said. The same "get the fuck over it and act accordingly" ideology has been used to back other oppressed peoples into a corner.
immigrants are told to "go back to where they came from" if they don't like being discriminated against, pot smokers are told to "sober up and obey the law" or go to jail/be denied employment/etc, poor people are told to "just get jobs", etc.

Why do people that disagree or don't conform have to be silenced? Isn't it just easier to hear them out and go from there?

  14. attractive guys and attractive girls are attractive to the opposite sex? OMGWTFBBQZ

if you want to not worry about the "pressures" (lol) of being attractive, move to the country

i live near los angeles 'cuz im fucken gorgeous

    lol :smoke:

  15. Of course, but with a lot of women this is only secondary. My degree is fine, but what reaaaally helped was the v-neck sweater i wore. I'm not saying that every woman that is "high up" or successful didn't get there on her own merit, but nowadays, being eye candy does a lot to one's advantage. How many times do you hear of a man getting a job b/c he was younger, thinner, etc? Occurs much more frequently with women.

    much love,

  16. Hate to break it to you but if your job consists of more than standing at an intersection with a hangdog look and a cardboard sign, and your street address isn't "under that bridge over there" you probably get treated better than a homeless guy.

Evidence of the homeless women claim? If it's all anecdotal... There's lots of homeless where I live and the women don't look meaningfully better off than the men. They all look like they've been through and hell and back without the help of a dead Roman poet.

  17. nothing wrong with wanting to attract the people you want , but what if your idea of what is attractive differs from the norm? what if I like overweight, hairy, amputees? and what if my overweight, hairy, amputee wife doesn't want to be treated differently because she adheres to her own standard of beauty? Maybe you're "fucken gorgeous" to the people that you are attracted to, but with if you were being treated poorly by employers who didn't share that sentiment? what then?

Shocking hearing this from member's of a "counter culture" community, what if the government/society proposed that "if you want to smoke pot, move to Amsterdam?" Wouldn't you wonder why you couldn't live where you wanted, and how you wanted within reasonable means?

If feminists are 'bitching and whining" then so are marijuana, censorship, civil rights, gay rights and other activists. If we all sat down a kept our mouths shut how would any social progress some about?

    much love,
    stonerbella

  18. yeah, I was just about to ask...where are these regal, well treated homeless women? I can barely tell the difference between homeless women and men in Baltimore, honestly.

    much love,
    stonerbella

  19. so why should women come before homeless people? eh? I say homeless people need more help in the name of equality... And what about the guy missing an arm, I think disabled people are still super discriminated against... Geez, and don't forget about the native americans, and the indians, blacks, roman catholics, short people and WW2 Nazi pilots..

    Feminism=garbage

    Can't force equality.
