How long do I have to wait before I will be able to tell whether I have female plants or males? What exactly should I look for?

I put my plants on 12/12 on last friday (6th oct) and they have alredy started to show signs of sex. All female at this stage! I am keeping a close eye on them to make sure i get it right though!
