Felony for NY Smoking near school?

    ok, so yesterday a me and my friends were in the back of a school. We were hitting a pipe and some guy walks over and goes"What you guys are doing is a Felony on school grounds, 5 years atleast". There wasnt really anybody except this guy in the park. so after that we just left kinda scared because we thought he might call the copppas. I cannot find it anywhere on the NORML.com site and does anyone know if it is actually a felony to smoke weed near a school. Im going to find a new spot to toke or just go there at night. It was kinda stupid but we were stoned and it was at like 12:30 in the afternoon lol.

    ummm actually around where i live (tha 818) there are signs that say
    "School Zones: all felonies are prone to extra fee due to school zone"
    or something along that line

    but yeah because i know if you run from the cops and you go by a school zone you can be fined even more for that

    Yeah, in south Florida near all the schools in my area, well atleast the highschools theres a sign out front that says drug free zone and that all penalties will be doubled or something like that
