Feeling sick after smoking

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by GiraffeVenom, Jan 20, 2014.

  1. I've been smoking some blue dream. Pretty dank stuff, it's not at all crappy weed and I know the dealer so it's not laced or anything. But I used a bowl, took some hits, got a great, giggly high. Once I started coming down I felt sick. It felt like all I could do was sleep but I took a nap, woke up and my head hurts and my stomach feels like shit. It's miserable. I'm a new smoker and I possibly smoked too much. Why do I feel like this and how can I end it/stop it from happening again.

  2. I'v known people who got similar effects as you stated from the same stash iv smoked and i didnt get the same negative effects. did you eat and drink plenty of water?

  3. Eat something greasy, drink a few glasses of water, you may be getting sick (not from the weed) take a tylenol and smoke some more when you feel better.

  4. Marijuana doesn't cause stomach problems.

It's probably just something you ate.

  5. This happens to me when I smoke nicotine but not bud, sorry bud.

  6. you smoked too much imo
the damn dank put you right on your ass and you basically just had to accept that xD

  7. Yea turns out I smoked a bit much lol and my blood sugar dropped. Super fun. Next time more snacks  :smoke:

  8. Even after years of smoking, Blue Dream turns my stomach for some reason, even just the smell of it. But then I don't like anything with even a hint of blueberry that isn't blueberries.
Something else to watch out for if any strain makes you feel sick when you've had plenty to eat and drink is to check for any tiny black dots on your bud or the stem of your bud (spider mite or aphid shit) or slight brown streaks running up the stems of the buds, which would be mold.

  9. It all depends on how your body handles it. But bud is widely known to help stomach problems which is weird. Anytime my stomach hurts and I smoke, it feels better. The only time I get sick from smoking is if I mix bud with other stuff like alcohol or pills. Only thing I could suggest is maybe try eating before you smoke and definitely staying hydrated before, while and after you smoke. Because I have read before that some people are more prone to get sick, feel dizzy etc. if not properly hydrated. I really can't think of anything else to help you. Because the rest is pretty much based on your body chemistry and what it likes and dislikes. Sometimes weed just doesn't do it for everyone bro.Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
