    Quick run down.
320 actual watts cob led. Growing in buffered coco/perlite 5 gal hempy Bucket. Temps are high in my 4ft by 2.5 feet closest avg 85f 50rh. The strain is growers choice tangerine dream auto that 4 (now) sprouted above medium 4 26 in their 5 gal home. ... started preflowering at around week 5/6. Plants are 4ft tall after super cropping the canopy that was lst'd in earlier days and lollipoped slightly most recently.

The "problem"... is my high ppms but the plant is thriving? . I use gh floranova grow/bloom.. i will get into more detailed info if asked about past feedings that were high the whole grow. I use to use distilled water but switch to tap and cut out cal mag when they started preflowering. Im now feeding my 8 week autos 2500-3000 ppm .5 at 5-6 ec. I feed them a little more than a quart twice a day and plan on increasing to 3.. i get a 3 sec stream of runoff out the one drain hole out the hempy. Plants were at 1500 during veg. Meter is cal. I shake the nutes. Have pictures of my tds pen in my tap, my bucket of feed, and in a cup of runoff. Both waterings are at 5.8 ph which swings to 6.4 in the run off of about 1500-1800ppm or 3.0-3.6 ec.

Sorry so long but tried to cover most variables. Why am i able to with such a high feed. I've upped it alot and they always take half sometimes more. Were 55 inch plants at one time.

  2. Anyone????

  3. I have been feeding on the higher side as well. Not as high as you. But feeding a solution that was in the 1600-1800 range. Same as you, no nute burn. But when I fed once with 1200 ppm solution, I started getting deficiencies, So maybe they're adapting to it.
I've seen people say don't feed over 1000. But I'm thinking if their fed high PPM's from the beginning, they will adapt to it and eventually require higher PPM's and at that rate, PPM levels that may burn some plants, may cause deficiencies for others.

  4. Tru. . My coco was buffered pretty strong with cal mag
At the turn of flower 1500ppm was giving me very slight deficiencies. The only time my runoff was higher than feed was when i didn't water for two days. Sativa dominant haze hybrid. With no burn or slowed growth what should be my stopping point?

Thanks for replying.. This morning i was going through your beasty perpetual journal. Nice looking plants.

    Thank you.

As far as stopping point.. I'd say that's up to you, and your financial situation. If you have plenty of money to throw at this, then maybe push it to the limit a few hundred ppm at a time. If not, then I'd keep it right above deficiency. I guess in the end it all come down to cost per gram and the more nutrients you use, the higher the cost per gram.

  6. Tru. Haven't really considered cost. Tho these little 1 pint bottles seem like they'll go far.

  7. How much $ was your meter? I've read some of the cheaper ones can get really out of whack.

  8. I've heard the same. And it's cheap. My friend came over with his meter thats alot more expensive than mine and it was only off by about 150 ppm in nutrient feed and about 25 off from my reading in tap Screenshot_20190620-155631_Samsung%20Internet.jpg

  9. If my runoff stays below nutrient feed im in the clear? I'm trying to figure out how to dial my nute levels using runoff.

  10. Welp here are my fertigation and runoff ppms ive been jolting down. Trying to find the sweet spot. For any future person reading this (I've read entire threads from a decade ago) when you want to reset or get a accurate base ec/ppm give a mini flush or leach rather of your intended target. I kinda jumped around based off the runoff which was probably a mixture of old ppm and new ppm as im in hempy buckets that have a two inch high perlite reservior. And only one .5 inch drainage hole. Will update this when i figure out some more shit.

  11. Numbers are in ppm on the .5 scale.

A recommended ppm by anyone other than your plant is more of an opinion than a recommendation. PL&H.... 20190623_232411.jpg

  12. The last feed is mixed by my sink at 2000 ppm. I think ima bump that up to 2500 and see if it continues to go back down in runoff and level out. If it doesn't go below 2300 after two days at 2500 I'll drop to 2000 ppm/ 4 e.c.

  13. Seems like they’re eating approx 1500 per feed. And btw, do you feed every watering?
