I have a buddy that has recently changed his nutes/feeding technique. He is watering his plants with nutes monday thru friday and flushing them on saturdays and sundays. I told him a month ago that he would end up overwatering and ultimately killing the plants. His response was that a freind had been doing this " new secret formula" and that the results were unbelievable.....Well I went to see them today and I coulndt believe how well they were doing. I mean he was avering 2 to 2.5 lbs dry bud per plant before on his previus feeding plan. My question is has anyone heard of this type of feeding 5 days on and 2 days of flushing, as he is not willing to disclose to me any detailed info?
Concept is simple. Don't water any more than they can use or will evaporate in a day's time, gonna depend on the size of the plant. Start with 100mL a day for a young plant? Just a guess. As far as nutrient strength, 200-300ppm 5 days a week and 2 days plain water should be in the ballpark. And he's a douche for not just telling you.
