Very very sadly I see Obama getting elected for another term it's just a little feeling in my gut. When I was medicating a couple months back, the only thing that would run through my mind was the corrupt world we live in and it was very depressing. I would just get lost in my thoughts about the different forms of governments that have ruled different counties since the beginning of the 20th century. Everything is about the money and will stay like that forever... One small example (a little off topic): The genocide in Sudan has been occurring for over a decade now and millions of people have been affected by this tragedy. The UN could have stepped in at any time that they wanted. We live in a very technological world today and anything that happens, we find out in a matter of minutes. The reason why they hadn't stepped in and ended that catastrophe was because China owns all the oil fields in that part of the country and China did not let them go in because it would have fucked up their income. This is just a tiny example, imagine all the other shit that occurs today.. ps. sorry for the little rant. i am a little drunk and this shit just pisses me off.

First off i would just like to point out the corporations have been paying off our politicans for years. Its actually the corruption with all these buisnesses and politicans thats making the country go to shit. second off, the only way you would get 25% is if your corporation makes over $1 million a year or you personally make over $1 million a year. I dont see how 25% will ruin you. If youre making over $1million in profit a year...even if the very worst happened...you would still be at least upper-middle class and be living just fucking fine, trust me. blame the government. specifically blame congress and the two party system. They sunk us down 14 trillion dollars. We have to have drastic changes made in order everything. 3rd off, you want to come up with a better idea? oh lets tax the middle and lower class more? This will get us out in 10 years. THEN...we adjust tax rates again! Maybe we could even get rid of the income tax! or lower the tax rates down from 25% to 15% or something. Either that, or we can abolish the fed and the government will start printing the money. i would also like to add that welfare needs to be abolished right now. nobody deserves a free check every month. If other countries around the world can have free healthcare and free college....then the U.S. can too.

That's what Paris Hilton has to pay on the money she gets from her trust fund. The middle class has to pay around 30% and the lower class has to pay more into social security and the same amount of taxes. Does this make sense to you? The revenue that the government gets is from taxes. Corporate income tax used to make up for around 25 percent of the governments revenue and it is now only 11%. The reason we are in this mess is very complex. All I know is it doesn't help having the rich pay the lowest taxes (proportionately) in the country. Since 1995, the tax cuts have saved the rich (over 1 million dollars annually) 130,000 dollars a year on average. It also doesn't help having the corporations paying such small taxes. It also doesn't help that the U.S tax payers are bailing out the "too big to fail" banks AND then they (banks) give record bonuses to it's ceos. It also doesn't help that we give subsidies to oil companies who jack up the prices on a whim just to increase profits at the expense of consumers. When companies do this it DECREASES the consumer surplus making it so we can't buy as many goods. Even though it increases their profits it makes our countries economy run very inefficiently. and it makes the wealth gap between the rich and the poor grow exponentially. The top 400 families in the country (thats the top .01 percentile) now holds as much wealth as 154 MILLION AMERICANS do. America is sleeping though. We don't realize whats going on because we live in a ME society. Where if we think it doesn't effect us we don't care or put any thought into it. You can believe me when I say some big stuff is going to go down here soon if we as a nation don't figure it out. You can trust me when I say if things don't change we will see a crumbling of the American dollar (and the global economy), a run on the grocery markets, riots, militarizing by the government to keep us in check, and mass starvation by those who can't fend for themselves.
