If you think that Victor Wooten and Les are the only two bassists that should be considered you should check out Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Larry Graham and other bassists who influenced the greats of today.
Bumpin' this thread up 'cause I like it and want to weigh in: Vocals: Elvis Presley, the King, hands down. Guitar: Come on, man. It's Jimi, but Jimmy wouldn't disappoint either. Bass: John Entwistle. Drums: John Bonham. No matter how hard Jimmy Page was rocking or how awesome Robert Plant was singing, John Bonham was in control of Led Zeppelin.
