Favorite National Anthems

  1. Maybe a bad thread idea, but I did a search, didn't find anything similar other than the songs with political meaning thread and I felt compelled to make this.

For some reason I like listening to national anthems from different countries. They're so uplifting. They make me feel connected to my fellow man somehow. They're epic, powerful and timeless. I love national anthems and respect them all.

I find myself listening to them a lot while drinking, like tonight, and I figured why not make a thread and see if any other blades like listening to national anthems lol. So, post your favorites. Why not!?

Probably my favorite anthem ever. I like it better than the old soviet one. So powerful, so big, it just fills me with energy and courage. The Russian anthem feels as massive as the country itself, I love it.

This one is beautiful, almost brings a tear to my eye.

I have some Scottish in me so maybe that's where my enjoyment of this one comes from, I dunno, but I like it a lot.

This one obviously isn't an anthem, but it's amazing. I think it's about a group of people during WW2 known as The Partisans who resisted the fascism that overtook their nations.

So, anyone else have any favorites?
