Im ready for unearths new album!!! If you guys got some suggestions for any good metal, whether itrs thrash power etc etc, please PLEASE pm me, im always looking for new bands!!!

  13. In order for someone to like Metal, they must first realize that Unearth is not Metal.

If you want some good Metal check out

    Kalmah- Swamplord
Immolation- Close To A World Below
    Morbid Angel- Covenant
    Slayer- Reign In Blood
    Death- Individual Thought Patterns
    Brodequin- Instruments Of Torture
Dismember- Like an Ever Flowing Stream
    Carcass- Haertwork
    Immortal- Sons Of Northern Darkness

  14. gimme the classic metal. Everything that got metal started. Sabbath, metallica, guns n roses. Kinda crossing into rock but hey, its all good.

    :metal:

  15. Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache

There is none higher for me.

Chilled with em on their bus and took a quickie guitar lesson from one of em.

Seen em 4 times now and I still cannot get enough.

Download KsE - Fixation on the darkness, when darkness falls, and end of heartache

  16. And for sure KSE is not Metal.

  17. how is KsE not metal?

if you consider metal to have no song structure and screaming to the point where it sounds like nothingness, then no they're not metal.

from a muscian's point of view they're a killer balance of screaming, vocals, and amazing riffs. having a degree in guitar theory gives me this perspective. the guitar playing is hard and fast yet melodic which most metalheads so to speak don't appreciate. harmonics riffs with each guitarist playing off of each other, thats what i dig em and why i'm a big fan of theirs.

not flamin ya, just a different perspective.

time to smoke the mad greenery to some KsE

  18. Well first of all a true metal band would have an album called ' The End of Heartache'. Sounds stupid and stereotypical, but its the truth. This theme contradicts everything Metal is.

Metal is a genre that goes against all things pretty, it shows the darker side of life. Its themes are much darker, and dont deal with 'im so depressed cause my g/f sucked some other guys dick'

Killswitch would the qualify as Metal Core. This is a sub genre of Hardcore, they belong with bands such as Unearth, Triviuam, Avenged Sevenfold etc.

True metal has much more distinctive sound, as an avid Metal listener for over 8 years now, I think i can tell the difference.

I admit KSE does have some Metal influences, and I am not discrediting them of their musical talents. Its just simply that theyre not Metal.

Calling KSE Metal would be like calling Good Charlotte Punk.

  19. I don't know much about the different types of metal but i like

    Dope
    Slayer
    Rammstein
    System of a Down
Korn (Korn is more Alt. Metal though)
I like a bit of everything, i like some metal but im not too into it.

  20. I love this man!!!
