  7. Ozzy's Diary of a Madman has the most epic solo I've ever heard. A close second would be Megadeth's Lucretia.

  8. dyer's eve

  9. Starla by The Smashing Pumpkins is unbelievable.

    Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
I Could Have Lied by The Red Hot Chili Peppers
22 Going On 23 by The Butthole Surfers
The Final Cut by Coheed and Cambria (I hate almost all the other songs by this band)
    Three Days by Janes Addiction

Thats all I can think of.

  12. Grant Green. Anything.

  13. "Things are gonna change" Carlos Santana/BB King

the solo on that is epic

  14. You cant get more emotion put into a solo, the guys playing the song of one of his closest friends, at a tribute concert for him, a song that he helped him write the music for.

  16. Dude. I love your taste in music.

    Some of mine are

Funky Monks by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Ten Years Gone by Led Zep
Willie the Pimp by Frank Zappa
Hey Baby (new rising sun) by Jimi Hendrix

  17. thanks dude!

Hey Baby (new rising sun) and Ten Years Gone are amazing.
And Funky Monks is probably RHCP's funkiest song (excluding their first 4 albums). Except for maybe Sir Psycho Sexy.

Never heard the Frank Zappa song but I'll check it out.

  18. Buckethead - Nottingham Lace
Guns N' Roses - There Was a Time (specifically the Buckethead solo)
Metallica - Fight Fire With Fire
    Pantera - Fucking Hostile
