  1. Alright people, who doesn't love a good mafia movie? What's your favorite out of these, sorry if your favorite isn't on there.

  2. The Usual Suspects and Reservoir Dogs out of those on the list. I can't really choose between those two.

  3. I like the Sapranos pretty good!!!!

  4. snatch , res dogs, and usual suspects

    but usual suspects fo sugady

    my fav

spacey plays the sickest part ever

  5. what about scarface. that was a great movie.

  6. scarface was the best gangster movie man. for real.

  7. Even though the Godfather series are great, my vote had to go to Casino. Definitely my favorite movie on the list. Probably up there with my top ten all time favs too. Another good crime movie in my opinion, is The Untouchables. Great movie.

  8. what's up with all you people and your scarface fanatisum? I mean, the movie WASNT THAT GREAT! Sure, it was good, but i can't believe how much im seeing it agian. My PARENTS saw that movie when they were my age, jeeze.. The only reason its making a comeback is because all these rappers think its so great, and you see it on all these tv shows with comentary from these 'ganstas" saying how they can "relate" and "connect" with it, omg it just annoys me. Talk about OVER HYPE! on a OLD MOVIE! Really, just WATCH the movie, its mediocre at BEST! Predictable and over done... uhg.. i just had to finnally get that off my chest...

Goodfellas...Now THATS, a great crime movie....

  9. i like resevoir dogs is good
but i like snatch n lock stock and two smoking barrels by guy ritchie ..those 2 r sweet

  10. You'r an anti-scarface huh? I think its a good movie, not the best, I voted for the Godfather ( really #1 & 2)

  11. well this isnt a classic gangsta movie but u said crime movie in the thread title, so i'ma jus say State Property. real good movie but not a classic. i havent got to see to many of the movies on that list except for resevoir dogs n i didnt think that was all that great so i'ma go wit the new shit haha.

  12. i always thought scarface was one of the best movies even before it made a come back. i saw that movie when i was 13, which was like 6 years ago and it's been on my top five favorite movies ever since.

  13. No, im not... I enjoyed the movie, but it really isnt all it's hyped up to be...and it just annoys me for the reasons why it's "so great" now...

  14. I like HEAT. DiNero is da man, and its got the best cinematic shootout ever.

I voted for Scarface. I just like the "rise and fall of a refugee" theme. He went from nothing, to the cocaine kingpin of Miami.

"All I got in this world is my word and my balls. And I don't break neither of 'em for nobody." -Tony Montana

Here's a little movie trivia for ya.

What was DePalma's inspiration for the main character to be named "Tony Montana?"

  15. nice poll

I said Godfather, but only 1+2, cause we all know that 3 sucked.

Others i was considering were Res. Dogs, Usual Suspects

  16. Man I'm amazed Pulp Fiction didn't make the list!! That movie's pure dopeness.

  17. Scarface is the shit i have it on dvd and have seen it about 100 times best movie ever!

oh "Tony Montana?" = Joe montana for the little trivia thing

  18. CORRECT! DePalma is a San Francisco 49ers fan. At the time the movie was being made, Joe Montana was the Quarterback for the 49ers.

I don't think he could have picked a better name either. "Tony Montana" is too cool.

  19. Got to admit that I'm surprised that Pulp Fiction isn't on the list too.

Out of those listed, I'd go with Resivor Dogs.

  20. I had to go with usual suspects. the first time I saw that movie I was like WHOAH! great flick! blazin420, good call on the shoot out scene in Heat. thats good stuff!
