AKIRA (man thats a cool movie)
  8. Ok I'm not a huge anime fan or anything, I saw Ninja Scroll which was pretty good.... but I'm reading the Akira series right now (haven't seen the movie) and it is seriously blowing my mind. I had never even read a comic book before but this story is seriously awesome, and I can't believe how good the drawings are.

I'm really engrossed in it. I'm at the fifth book.

    gundam wing, and 08thms team
    flcl is alright

but for movies akria is the best hands down
  10. i liked the movies porko rosso and my neighbor totoro
and the other one about the raccons
  11. I used to watch a lot of Anime. One of my old boyfriends was super into it, even got a huge tattoo of an anime chick (her name was Nabiki) on his leg. I don't remember all of what I've seen, but I remember really liking this one called Ranma 1/2, and Tenchi Muyo. *chuckles* I've seen a lot in the Japanese language as well. He used to get a bunch before it even came out in the US.

From memory, I can recall seeing (most of these I've seen in English and Japanese):
    Ranma 1/2
    Cowboy Bebop
    Ghost in the Shell
Shin seiki Evangelion Gekijou-ban (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
    La Blue Girl
    Rurouni Kenshin (great series)
Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke, Great movie, they show it a lot in english on cable)
    Bubblegum Crisis
    My Neighbor Totoro
    Oh My Goddess!
    Tenchi Muyo!
Perfect Blue (which we went and drove to Chicago to see in the theatre, great movie)

I know there's a few more, but after about 10 minutes or so of thinking back to years ago, I can't think of any more titles. I'm amazed I've remembered all these. Those are the ones that for whatever reason stuck in my head or I really liked. I'm picturing in my head some that i've seen, but can't remember the names. And I'm sure all the Hentai I used to watch doesn't need to be listed.

Now this is going to bug me all night, and I'm going to be thinking about those damn titles. Thanks. Thanks a lot. :p

  12. Cowboy Bebop
DBZ (not strict anime, I guess, but I lovez it. :D)
and movie: Princess Mononoke (I saw it when I was littler, not sure how much I'd like it now, but I'd guess still a lot)

I also used to watch the Gundam 8th MS Team, seeing that posted brought back huge memories.
  13. Well, i love Outlaw Star and Chobits(the mangas are better than the series), i like FMA, Gundum Wing, Ghost In Shell, FCLC, Angel Sanctuary, Naruto, I dont really like Lupin The 3rd, and Trinity Blood looks promising.

Edit:I speak Hiragana and Katakana. but i cant write it so...
  14. S.A.Cgits2nd gig
    cowboy bebop
    neon genesis evangilion
    ah my goddess!

i really like Shinichiro Watanabe's work.
  15. Hellsing

are my favorites. I'm not really a fan of Naruto, just find it too kiddy/cheesey.
  16. i use to watch anime alot on adultswim but my favorites are on any more
    Gundam Wing and Outlaw Star

every now and then ill watch inuyasha
  17. I'm a bit of a romantic, so my absolute favorite is:

    Onegai Sensai

It's just so sweet, so sad at parts... it's such a great series, too bad it's so short ^_^ But I get so engrossed in the world.

    I'm currently watching:

    Serial Experiments: Lain

I've only seen the first ep so far, it looks alright, we'll see how the rest goes.

Hellsing was decent for a violent anime, which I don't really prefer.

I love Hayao Miyazaki films that I have seen, Spirited Away, and My neighbor Totoro. They bring me memories of a much happier time :) Plus the animation is great.

But other then that, I havn't seen too much else. I'm not an anime freak, but I don't have any issue with a well done one.
  18. im nto into it anymore, but i was..

    Ninja scroll
    Vamp hunter D
