Fantasy Football 2007

I've been playing for 6 years now. I have won in my league twice; cash prizes. I just play for fun now cause the entry fees were getting a bit steep. Anybody else play? I think it would be badass if we could get a league going with GC users only. We can start a league on ESPN or Yahoo for free, I believe? Anybody who is interested let me know ASAP cause we only have 3 weeks till kick off!! Novice or experienced players are welcome to join! However, if you join make sure you are willing to commit to it so that we have a competitive season...anyways, get back at me soon.

Glad to see a lot of you dudes are interested.. im gunna start working on it tomarrow and PM you guys with details. Were gunna play on ESPN or Yahoo's website. "Live draft" if possible. Sounds like we might even need two seperate leagues!! im pretty stoked.

 

Hey guys.. The league is all set up. We are going to play on ESPN.com because they are an easy website to understand for all who are beginers and they offer a lot of free information throughout the season; and I really like their Live Draft Java application. The league name is going to be Grasscity. To finalize things.. I need to pick a time for all of us to meet and get the Draft going. I was thinking either tomarrow or sometime this weekend around 10pm-Midnight. The draft takes all of 1 hour or less and you have to download the Java application first..which takes less than 5 minutes. Since there are only 10 spots available I guess it is going to have to be first come first serve. Dont get all ancy yet.. the league is not available to join until I pick a draft time so lets agree on that first and then I'll let you guys know when the spots are open. If there are more than 10 people that want to play thats cool.. I'll just create another league.

Eldude-arino: thanks for offering you help dude. I think ESPN.com should be just fine. I have never used NFL.com but I know some guys that have. Either way im sure they are both fine choices and I've just decided to pick ESPN. Hope thats cool with you and everyone else who wants to play.

So.. like I said. Lets pick a draft time. Tomarrow or this weekend 10pm-Midnight looks good for me. Let me know whats up guys

You cant join the league till I finalize it, which will be when we figure out a draft time. Then I'll give out the PW to join the league cause its a private league..not open to the public. So keep your eye out for when it happens.

 

Alright guys. I went ahead and set the draft time for tomarrow, Friday- August 17th, @ 10:30 PM. I hope you all can make it. The draft should last about an hour. I set the league to private so go ahead and join up and I'll accept your requests; its first come first serve. The league name is "GC: The Players Club" so go onto ESPN.com and search the league name and then join..I should get a request and then I'll have to accept you. If there are any problems let me know.

REMEMBER!! We are looking for dedicated members ONLY. This means dont join then become an inactive manager after week 2..it sucks when people do this because it makes the league less competitive and not fun at all. Anyways..it should be a great season, hope to see a lot of you tomarrow night in the Live Draft.
