Ok before I start my grow I just need one more question answer are fans a necessity or are they just like a bonus item?
I would say that they are necessary. They serve a few different functions. - They strengthen your plants by simulate a gentle breeze. - They move the air around to avoid it becoming stagnant. - They can help control temperatures in the grow area. - They can help avoid mold and bud rot. Can you grow without a fan? Probably. Should you? Not if you want healthy plants. Good luck.
You forgot to add plants need fresh air. Also the fan should change the air in the room at least 3 times a minute.
