Fan speed for tent

  1. Hi y'all, quick question.

I have a 3x3x7 tent connected to a 6 Inch 440 CFM Inline fan. On that fan there is a speed changer from low-medium- and high. What would be the optimal speed I set that fan to for a tent my size?

    Thank you

  2. If noise is not a problem..I would run it full speed ahead..;)

  3. It varies based on fan/carbon filter/air intake(s)/speed controller.. etc..

You need to adjust the fan so there isn't too much or too little negative pressure.

I run my fan on low (just a bit more than the lowest you can turn it down). (In a 4x4 tent w/ filter)

  4. No doubt and if humidity drops I'll just crank up the humidifier I guess haha thank you

  5. The main reason to exchange the air is to remove air that is partially depleted of co2. I've checked co2 levels for various fan speeds (3' x 3' with 440 cfm 6"), and even 1/2 of the low setting kept co2 levels constant.

  6. If your using it inline to cool lights as well I would say full speed ahead
