I recently bought a new fan and cooltube to fight my temp problems but the new fan is very loud and somewhat overpowered. My setup is a 1.2x1.2x2m tent with a 600w hps in a cooltube with a 412 cfm fan taking cold air from outside blowing over the bulb and back outside. My tent is now room temp at 75f but the fan is very loud. I'm running it on the same timer as the light but can I attach a plug in fan speed controller to slow it down and hopefully make a bit less noise? Its still very powerful even with long ducting with multiple elbows so I think it can take a bit less power and still cool my light enough I just want to know if it's saFE or if it's going to knacker my setup?
