My plant is between the 4th and 5th week of flowering...I heard a rumor that if you cut the fan leaves off the main stock that the plant will convert the fan leaf energy into the budding process and it will flower quicker. Is there some truth in that? Anyone with some input help me out! Preferably some old heads thats been doin this sort a thing for awhile.
no the plant gets its energy from the fan leaves, the fan leaves is where most of the plants energy is stored & the fan leaves is what catches the light & co2 to convert into "energy"
Think of leaves as little solar panels for the plant. Leaves convert light energy into food and energy usable by the plant. With fewer leaves, your plant will not be able to absorb energy light energy as quickly.
thanX guys...that's all i needed to know... Man i'm sure glad i didn't just cut um off instead of postin this thread...
