Fan Leave Yellowing. Normal?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by krynge, Jun 30, 2014.

  1. Hello there,

I am growing some Northern Lights Automatic and while small, the plant is in full flower.

I'm wondering if the yellowing of the fan leaves is something I should worry about.  The leaves on the bottom are the most impacted, and it works its way up the plant, as can be seen in the attachment.

This seems to happen to me every time (not just this plant).  Historically in the end the bud is OK.  Just wondering if there is something I can to do avoid this, or not to worry and move on.

The plant is in soil outdoors in plentiful sunlight.  I use Ionic Soil every week or so.  Everything other than the yellowing leaves look perfect.

    Thanks for any advice.

Yes it is normal, don't feed extra nitrogen for those worthless leaves.

You are growing flowers now, fuck those leaves, pull them off if you want.

  4. Thanks for the information guys.  Really appreciate it.

  5. It looks quite pale in general, I would give it half dose nutes on every watering
