My AK plant that is 4 weeks into flowering has developed browning and dying of fan leafs. Starts from the middle of the leaf and works it’s way out. Dark brown. Growing outdoors in pots. Fed nutrients throughout grow. PH or soil and water is a steady 6.5. Soil test for levels of Nitrogen Phosphorus potassium are all solid also. My guys is a micro nutrient deficiency. Calcium maybe but only a guess. Need help ASAP before losing flowering crop!
Fungus. How To Deal With Leaf Septoria (Yellow Leaf Spot) On Cannabis Plants - RQS Blog You need to act quickly since you’re already in flowering
When you prune be aware that bacteria, mold/mildew, and fungi spores can transfer from your cutting tools, gloves anything that can get dusty basically. I sanitize between cuts with equal parts of bleach and distilled water. If you cut out a branch cut it similar to how roses are cut at the ends diagonally
I gave it a massive cutting of all leafs that were showing major signs of spots it was clear for a day or two I watered and fed and it came back as bad 72 hours later. I did read about the septoria before posting this. How sure are you this is it and not a deficiency?
Some strains are more resistant than others, are you growing in the same soil? Did you clean your clippers after pruning?
Yes both plants have lived identical life’s and environment soil and all. I pruned all in one sitting cutting infected leafs right at stem node. If I were to prune now I would have to cut 95% of leafs off leading to flowering failure I would guess. I was thinking of adding a calcium-magnesium additive first.
Are those carnations in the background? I pick up flowers all the time from hard ware stores that have blights on them already.
If you really think it’s not fungal or viral, you could try supplementing for manganese. that’s usually only a ph issue, so it’s generally not a deficiency, but hey I learn something new every day. Keep me posted.
Check meters. I would try a little cal mag and watch the new growth Sent from my SM-G935T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
