FAN HELP

  1. I'm completely new and really confused. I've got a room. 8W x 14L x  9H separate from house attached to garage sealed up with NOventilation as of now. This room will be for vegatating, clones etc but not flowering. ill be moving them outside for that. as of now I've got a small light for starting seeds on a folding table. it was a 21 something ( sorry thats not helpful) i also have one GGL T5 with 8 bulbs under it is 6 clones (3-4 weeks old) the room is getting too hot (I'm guessing not that much of the heat is from the lights) it was 95-ish at 2pm today. temperature here outside rarely gets above 90. hawaii. it was maybe high 70s today. I'm mainly looking for what you would suggest to move air/cool down temp. not concerned about filtering for smell now, but i will want to integrate that later down the road. should i decide to flower indoor.
\nwhats the difference between intake vs inline fans? (is inline mainly used to cool lights?)
\nwhat size intake or inline fan do you suggest? 4" 6" ?
\nwhat about air going out ?
\nshould i separate babys, clones and mothers in diff rooms?
    \nALOHA

  2. Inline are usually used to cool the bulb. But u can also use it for smell control.. Just by putting a filter on it. I have had the same problem. Just get a inline and have it suck the air out.. After that and down the road you can grab a filter... Now the size all comes down to your hood.. Hat kind of hood u have? The inline fan will cool your room a little but u NEED a circulating fan in there at all times

Do you have any fans blowing in there for air circulation? Open vents on the tent with a couple fans should keep things cool

If you have an extra fan you can take the fan off the stand and zip tie it to the tent frame..thats my setup but I also have the air cooled hood and carbon filter, but the flourescents should be easier to keep cool than the HID lights

  4. You need to bring fresh air into that room and exhaust the hot air. The way to do that is to get an inline fan (Vortex, Max, Elicent), at least 8" for that size room to suck the air out of the room. Then make passive intakes, two or more holes sizable holes, which you will have to lightproof, on other walls through which the fan will suck fresh air into the room as it pulls the hot air out. That should take care of your temperature issue. An intake fan is not a type of fan, but any fan you are using to bring air into the room. The passive intakes should work and you shouldn't need a fan on the intakes.

  5. 8x14x9 = 1008 cu ft

Just for the air the plant needs to breathe the room needs the air the be exchanged every five minutes, so at a minimum you need a fan that is rated at at least 200cfm and thats really the minimum.

6" inline fan is approx 400cfm...I wouldn't go any lower than that.
8" inline fan is approx 700 cfm and not much more expensive than the 6"... that would be my choice.

for a general idea on the difference in prices between different fan sizes.
