Family busted me, need some research help

    Alright guys I'm gonna need your help. Recently my pops found about 3 gs in my pants and is now throwing this abovetheinfluence garbage at me. I've done my research on pot, and apparently so has he. Most websites he's read that are pro-toke, he argues, are all made by the those who are already "addicted." If anyone can give me some credible ammo of research to shut him up, please please please help me out. I've been hearing this crap from him for too long and enough is enough. Much appreciation for any help.

    Yes, I'll echo what others said. The Union: The Business behind getting high. My wife was so anti-cannabis she may as well have been a fed. I sat her ass down and made her watch that and she was a different person when it was over.

    Anyone who watches that "movie" and is still anti-cannabis is just bitter and they aren't really looking for truth, but rather a reason to stand behind the lies they've heard their whole life.

    It's on Nexflix instant right now. If you don't have it, this might be a good time to evoke the free 30 day trial to show your pops.

    Did you start acting differently before he found your herb? Did he have any sort of indication that you were smoking on the herb? Were there any negative changes in your life that were attributed to the herb? Show him first hand that it is not a negative thing.

    Ayo, I just read an article today that might be perfect for you. Carl Sagan, mentioned earlier, has studied weed for over 40 years. His work has been endorsed and published via Yale and Harvard University. Here's the link to the article I just read.

    BTW.. In the article he mentioned that some of his Harvard associates did not want to support his work because usually Pro-Tokers are users.. well this guy 1.) didn't start smoke until after a few years of clinical study and 2.) He said in the article "I have writen numerous books on medications for schizophrenia. Do I need to be a schizo to be a credible source?

    Also, you might have to accept the fact that there might not be anything you can do to convince him. If he is anything like my Dad, if he has made his mind up that 2+2=5, nothing I show him will convince him otherwise.

    the "younger" fam busted me (mom dad uncles aunts no grandmas and shit) on NYE by the smell of my room lol. they all laughed it off. and one of my uncles told my mom it looks like i blaze everyday. idk how the fuck he can tell that.

    my parents have done a similar thing with me... the first thing you need to remember is that your dad loves you a lot. he's just picking a bad way of showing it. be patient with him because a lot of people see weed as an evil thing and he's apparantly one of them.

    now as for getting him to shut up, just have a conversation with him and tell him that you know he's concerned about your success and well being in life and tell him that you appreciate that. say that you aren't going to let weed get in the way of you accomplishing things in your future. also explain to him that you're (presumably) an adult and you have to make some decisions for yourself much like he (presumably) did...

    if that doesn't work, get a job save up and move out. most people don't come around and i'm currently saving to move out, just so you know.
