  1. So I downloaded both recently and can't decide which one to play through first. It seems Fallout is more fun, but Stalker sets a better atmosphere. What's your favorite and why?

Edit: - I'm talking about New Vegas and Call of Pipyrat btw.

  2. Dude, return new Vegas and get fallout 2 and 3.

  3. I can''t say anything about Fallout 1 & 2 since I've never played them but I've completed 3 and I prefer NV.

  4. Play New Vegas, it's awesome. You'll especially like it if you completed and enjoyed Fallout 3.

  5. New vegas is awesome, if im not mistaken theres an expansion pack out soon...

But my favorite is 3, the expansions are so extensive, its like having 4 games in one...

Plus the size of the maps is amazing too, sometimes i get overwhelmed...

Fallout por vida, bathesda makes good shit.

I know, I have it, I like the fallout 3 story and wasteland better.

  7. Fallout is a more humorous take on the end of the world. Stalker is pretty scary, scarier than Fallout at least.

I personally enjoyed Stalker's story more, but liked Fallout's gameplay the best.

  8. you should try the STALKER complete mods , they definitely improve the game a lot.

I prefer the gameplay and atmosphere of the STALKER series, but Fallout 3 has a lot more replay value.

  9. Yeah the Stalker series was better in my opinion. It was fun, and there were alot of creepy moments, but once I beat the stories I had no desire really to play through a second time.

  10. The first stalker modded out is a great game, but its an atmospheric dark 3d shooter type game. You don't have to talk to anyone really, and even if you do you don't get dialog options. Basically its not a rpg. Great game though, Call of pripyat is a much shorter game that feels more like an addon to Stalker than its own game.

Fallout 1 and 2 are possibly the best rpg's ever made. I have replayed those many times and its always fun, horrible graphics by todays standards but its fun if you love rpgs. Fallout tactics isn't bad but not up to the original fallouts as it took out the rpg element and made it more of a tactical squad based game. You can get a pack that includes 1, 2, and tactics online for really cheap.

Fallout 3 and NV are both good in their own regards with great graphics etc. but both need to be highly modded to balance them out in my opinion. Once modded I would still choose F3 over NV but that may just be personal preference. I still have not beat NV cause I keep loosing interest. Have fun

  11. i got over 160 hrs in all 3 stalkers, (almost 60 in pripyat alone)

cant stand fallout after i beat it, awesome game to play through but had no replay value for me :( , ive been thru all stalkers atleast twice so far, fucking incredible game, and shit ton of awesome mods for even better replay :D

  12. STALKER ftw

  13. STALKER is truly amazing. Tough as fuck at first, but it's a real grower. Mod it up with Complete though.

  14. They are really different games, honestly. Fallout: NV is more RPG than shooter, while S.T.A.L.K.E.R is more shooter with RPG elements thrown in there for flavor.

I just started playing Fallout:NV earlier this week, and I'm having a rough time deciding what I want to put points into. Too many options. And faction choices? Ugh.

  15. New Vegas was okay, but I really liked all of the add ons.

Well honest hearts was kinda weak, but dead money, big empty, and lonesome road kicked ass.
