    I believe this is fake bud but not 100%, is it real purp?

    Winter grown outside in Southern California. A bit of cooler temps will make about half the strains I grow go purple in the off season like now.

    That’s the harvest I’m talking about if the buds color when squeezed in a napkin. The was bought at a dispensary. I just wanna know if purp is real or dyed.

    The anthocyanins that are responsible for the purple color are water based, so yes they would bleed onto a napkin if wet/damp.

    Do people actually waste money dying weed purple, I don’t think it’s automatically worth more ? Hmm .. weird stuff happens it’s possible!

    100% real..yes the purple leeches out on anything..I made oil out of my trim and yes as it soaked in the alcohol it turned purple..lol
