fake flourescent bulbs??

    wussup i saw these 'fake' flourscent bulbs will they work?

    It's called a compact fluorescent hence the coiling of the bulb and the reason it can be installed in any socket is because the ballast is built in

    yes what is 'fake' about it?

    and yes it works...they work great, are cool to the touch and are cheap to run and last a long time.

    they work well but i wouldnt say cool to the touch, it hurts if you touch em :)

    cooler than a HPS or MH or incendescent.

    but no...dont stick ur tongue on it.
