So....I chopped the entire new growth off.... I've been searching and either no one has made this mistake or are too ashamed to ask for help... What's going to happen to my babies =[
If you chopped all the new growth off, but still left the big leaves that were right under it, then you should be fine. On top of where the leaves are attached to the stem you should start to see 2 new nodes of growth. It may take some time to show it, topping stresses the girls out.
@[member="stevebomb"] How much damage has been done to, if at all, to vertical growth? Can I FIM later?
http://forum.grasscity.com/plant-training/1067789-fucked-up-topping-my-plant.html Pure1 links a pretty nice image for fimming and topping. And, probably no damage to vertical growth. http://forum.grasscity.com/plant-training/1151405-how-often-do-you-fim-top-your-plants.html Edit: the 2nd link talks about fimming/topping more than once
@[member="stevebomb"] Update: I have 2x Animal Cookies and 2x BlackBerry They are clones and asymmetrical. Three transferred the new growth area onto the nearest shoot. One, overnight grew back that area I originally chopped off. Am I tripping? What's going on here =O
