These buggers are killing my plants. I noticed them a couple days ago and looked up what to do on the internet to get rid of them. I read that putting a layer of sand on top of my soil will do the trick. So after going out and getting sand I now see that they are going in and out of the drainage holes in the bottoms of my pots. Does anyone have advice on how to stop them from entering through the bottom? I put tape over the holes but I dont know how effective this will be. Thanks
FIne window screen glued around the holes. Sand on the ground then put the pot on top of the sand. It will still drain fine. Sand/Perilite works great ontop of the soil to get rid of them
