Ez cloner problem.. Help!

  1. I have been using these ez cloner 120 for like 6 months and used it like 3-4 times with no problems. then all the sudden I start losing half the clones then like two tries in a row with like 100 clones each try completely died! It was making them get slimmy at the bottoms and just sorta rot out. So I asked the dude at the hydro store what to do .. and mind you I have been cleaning it with bleach every time, so the guy tells me to get new plugs and little sprayer hardware inside the thing use protekt and kln rooting stuff.. He said that fungi were harbouring in the old neoprene plugs. so I did it, and 5 days into it I lose 3 clones with a few more in question.

THis is like a distress signal I'm sending out here people.. My mothers have been under abuse for the lack of a working cloner that is suppose to make my life easy and has done nothing but Extremely jack my cycle up.

So, if anyone here might be able to help, and in lou of the fact that I really can't go without these clones that are supposedly rooting. PLEASE DO!

  2. Since you are cleaning with bleach...I would say its the blade,or what ever you are dipping them in that is contaminated......How many lil' girls do ya' need a week? or per cycle? we can do 21 in a spot the size of a shoe box if ya' want?

  3. I personally experienced something similar every time i used the EZ cloner. I believe that the always on pump just heats the water too much creating an environment that invites problems.

I quit using mine after a couple times because i was getting nearly 100% out of DWC bucket with a lid that had holes cut for the neoprene inserts for the EZ Cloner.

I am nearly certain the EZ Cloner would work much better on a cycle timer. If it were set to 5 minutes off, one minute on. I bet the heat would be significantly reduced and the success rate would be much higher.

Granted, cycle timers are a bit expensive but, that would be your best bet.
