check this out http://cgi.ebay.com/JAKKS-EYECLOPS-...157592942QQihZ014QQcategoryZ232QQcmdZViewItem a kids toy that could be used to look at your trichromes lol , if you want to spend the $.
Or for the money you could buy a half dozen pocket microscopes at Radio Shack and still have some change left over...
Reminds me of the simpsons, where bart I think takes a crap load of megaphones and puts them together to make a sonic noise destruction device lol.
I would buy it if I had a video card that would take the inputs. It's for TV only. I want to capture images as well.
I would have bought it but... no tv, no video input on the comp. So while we're on the topic...where do you guys get a good magnifying glass? I've got the cheap microscope from radioshack but it's a pain in the ass to use. Very small area, and you've got to focus it while maintaining the same distance. I almost threw it away. Most magnifying glasses are 2-4x. I want something that has a large viewing area with at least 50x magnification. I'm willing to pay for it too, but haven't found it in town or online....
http://cgi.ebay.com/Magnify-Glass-M...ryZ34084QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem but honestly I don't need one to see them I have eyes. Just look closely it really isn't hard to see amber, maybe cloudy but definitely not amber.
Try a jeweler's loupe instead. Video card -- why would you need full-motion video of your trichs? Why not just photograph them with a macro lens to capture the images?
The first post was to check out the Eyeclops, not check out my micro lens. In order for me to capture the images made by the Eyeclops I would have to plug it into my PC. They have lots of PC video cards that can plug into the Eyeclops (AV inputs) and capture stills. Just not at my house. Because I have a video card in my PC does not mean I make videos, lol.
