Sup homies. Im about 4 weeks into flowering now, I got 6 plants. I just took them outside to transplant them to bigger pots, and while looking at my White Widow, I noticed a bunch of small sacs... here's a pic. They're scaring the shit out of me... I'm pretty confident they shouldn't be there, so what do i do now? All 6 plants were cloned, and it is budding like a normal female, but obviously something has gone awry. Anyone have any good advice? I've also seen a few little black bugs hiding under some leaves, but nothing overwhelming. I removed all the ones i saw, and sprayed again with Organicide.. sigh.
I'd get that plant out of your grow room, infact... out of your home!! As for the black fly I wouldn't spray the leaves i'd spray the soil however this is just an asumption from the research I have done I have never experienced black fly so far.. touch wood. What are your temps? and are they stable?
doubt it... i have a window right next to the grow with a fan bringin in fresh air. it's winter here so the nights could get a bit chilly.. it doesnt get too hot tho. i cant' tell you what temperature range im getting tho =/ would that be the cause of the hermie?
It looks like you got a male on your hands. or a Female that has been pollinated. Also the black bug's you saw under the leaves are most likely spider mites... Bad news I would get some lady bugs and introduce them to your plants. And next time use Neem oil during your grow. All pests hate that stuff and its organic... Good luck.
I think you would be best in buying a themometre!! If your temps are dropping drastically during the lights out period it could be stressing your plants and causing them to hermie, however the plant could just be a male, get it out before it pollenates the rest of your plants.
where do you see seed sacs? it looks like pistil pods that will turn into flowers. maybe i am not seeing what you guys see. could you circle the seeded areas on paint and then repost.
I can see clusters, they would be much more pistoling if they where pistols sacs! I could be wrong but...
trust me they're not female preflowers. All the plants have been budding normally, so they were female to begin with... but that one definitely has its own problems going on... either way, that plant is in the back yard now, and now im gonna go inspect the rest of my babies, wish me luck
well... the other plants. They aren't nearly as huge or prevalent as on the White Widow, but i spotted a few things that appeared to be the beginings of seeds on all the other plants. I could be mistaking these, perhaps they'll turn out to be buds.. but since they're on all the plants it wouldnt make sense to ditch em all.. sigh. This is what happened last grow, except that time they definitely hermied from heat stress.
Sad Mang. Im sorry to hear this... How hot/cold was your room getting? maybe its time to look into air cooled hoods...
