External Cannabis Treatment?

    Hello, I once read an article about Cannabis and religion and it stated something along the lines of people originally being annionted in a tub of cannabis oil instead of babitized in water...... off the subject of religon is it possible to use marijuana in such a way? It seems that the skin would absorb it(and probably be good for skin too) and psycoactive effects would still be produced, though dosage would be difficult to control.
